Vivo V80 Lite 5G Launches

Vivo has launched the V80 Lite 5G in Pakistan, giving the company’s V-series lineup a new mid-range option built around a large battery, curved AMOLED display, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset.

The phone was officially listed by vivo Pakistan with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage. Prices start at PKR 124,999 for the 128GB version and rise to PKR 145,999 for the 256GB model. The handset is available in Silk White and Sapphire Blue.

For Indian buyers, however, there is an important distinction. Vivo has not officially confirmed an India launch for the V80 Lite 5G. Recent reports have suggested that an India version could arrive, but the company has yet to announce a launch date, price, or retail availability in the country.

Vivo V80 Lite 5G specifications

The Pakistan model features a 6.83-inch 1.5K POLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Vivo says the panel reaches up to 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode and has a 93.82% screen-to-body ratio.

The display uses a curved design, while the phone measures 164.42 x 75.25mm. The Sapphire Blue version is 7.99mm thick and weighs 197 grams, while the Silk White version is slightly thicker and weighs 199 grams.

Powering the handset is MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360-Turbo, an octa-core 4nm processor. The Pakistan model comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Vivo also claims a 50-month smooth experience based on its own testing and promises three generations of operating-system updates and five years of security patches.

The phone runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

7,050mAh battery and 44W charging

Battery capacity is one of the V80 Lite 5G’s main selling points.

The Pakistan model has a 7,050mAh typical-capacity BlueVolt battery, paired with 44W charging. Vivo says the battery is rated to retain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,600 complete charge cycles under its laboratory testing, which the company equates to about six years of use under the specified test conditions.

Vivo also includes bypass charging, which is designed to reduce heat during use while the phone is connected to a charger. The company claims up to 22.4 hours of video playback under its laboratory test conditions.

Those figures are manufacturer test results rather than independent battery-life measurements, so real-world endurance will vary with network conditions, brightness, applications, and usage.

Cameras include a 50MP Sony sensor

The rear camera system combines a 50MP Sony IMX852 main sensor with a 2MP bokeh camera.

For selfies, the V80 Lite 5G has a 32MP front camera. Vivo also lists 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras, although availability can depend on software and camera mode.

Other camera features include Aura Light Portrait, Dual-View Video, Live Photo and AI Erase 2.0.

The phone also has an in-display optical fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers.

IP68 and IP69 protection

Vivo has given the V80 Lite 5G IP68 and IP69 dust- and water-resistance ratings.

The company says the phone has been tested under controlled laboratory conditions, including IP68 testing involving immersion in static fresh water up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes and IP69 testing using high-temperature water jets.

Vivo cautions that water resistance is not permanent and that liquid damage is not covered by its warranty.

The handset also includes a 3,800-square-millimetre vapor chamber, with Vivo claiming a total cooling area of more than 23,000 square millimetres.

Another V80 Lite with a 10,000mAh battery is coming

The V80 Lite name is becoming more complicated because Vivo appears to be preparing different regional versions.

Vivo Malaysia has confirmed that another V80 Lite will launch on September 3 at 7 pm local time. The Malaysian model will feature a much larger 10,000mAh battery.

That version appears to differ from the Pakistan phone in both design and hardware. Reports based on certification and benchmark listings have linked the Malaysian model to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, 6GB RAM and 44W charging, but Vivo has not yet published a complete Malaysian specification sheet.

The distinction matters because specifications reported for one V80 Lite variant should not automatically be applied to another market.

What about the Vivo V80 Lite 5G in India?

India remains the biggest unanswered question.

The V80 Lite 5G has appeared in reports and listings connected with the Indian market, and some reports have suggested that the Indian version could be related to the Vivo S2. However, Vivo has not officially announced an Indian launch date or pricing.

There is also evidence that Vivo may use different hardware configurations under the V80 Lite name in different countries. The Pakistan model is already official, while the Malaysian model has a separate launch announcement and a 10,000mAh battery.

For now, Indian buyers should therefore treat any reported price, launch date, or specification for the V80 Lite as unconfirmed unless Vivo announces it directly.

The confirmed Pakistan model starts at PKR 124,999 and combines the Dimensity 7360-Turbo, 7,050mAh battery, 120Hz curved AMOLED display and 50MP Sony main camera. The Malaysian version, meanwhile, is scheduled for September 3 and will bring the 10,000mAh battery to the international market.

More details about the Malaysian model — and whether Vivo brings either version to India — should become clearer as the company completes its regional launches.
