Investors who applied for the Lalithaa Jewellery Mart IPO can check their allotment status online after the basis of allotment is finalised. The ₹1,700-crore mainboard issue closed for subscription on August 19 after attracting exceptionally strong demand across investor categories.
The IPO was subscribed 62.97 times overall, according to exchange data reported by IDBI Capital. Investors placed bids for about 395.22 crore shares against 6.28 crore shares on offer.
The scheduled IPO timeline set the allotment date for August 20, followed by refund initiation and credit of allotted shares to demat accounts on August 21. The shares are scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE on August 24.
How to check Lalithaa Jewellery Mart IPO allotment status
The primary route is the IPO registrar, MUFG Intime India Private Limited, formerly known as Link Intime India.
MUFG Intime IPO Application Status
On the registrar’s application-status page, investors can select the relevant company and check their application using details such as their PAN, application number, DP/client ID, or other requested information. The official page currently provides the application-status facility for public issues.
Investors can also use the stock exchanges.
NSE IPO Bid/Allotment Verification
The NSE says its IPO verification system also provides allotment information supplied by the registrar. Investors can search using their PAN or application number.
The BSE also provides an IPO application/allotment status facility.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart IPO subscription details
Demand for the Lalithaa Jewellery Mart issue was particularly strong among institutional investors.
The QIB portion was subscribed about 145.38 times, while the NII category was subscribed about 73.90 times. The retail portion was subscribed about 11.81 times, according to the final subscription figures reported from exchange data.
The issue carried a price band of ₹190 to ₹201 per share, with a lot size of 74 shares. At the upper end of the price band, one retail lot required an investment of ₹14,874.
The IPO consisted of a fresh issue of up to ₹1,200 crore and an offer for sale of up to ₹500 crore. The company said the fresh capital would support its expansion plans, including the establishment and stocking of new stores.
Why allotment may be difficult for retail investors
The heavy oversubscription means many applicants will not receive shares.
Retail investors cannot assume that applying for multiple lots guarantees an equivalent number of shares. Where a retail category is oversubscribed, allotment is determined according to the applicable basis of allotment and lottery methodology.
The final subscription figures show that the retail category alone received substantially more demand than the shares reserved for it.
Investors should therefore rely on the official registrar or exchange result rather than unofficial messages circulating on social media or messaging platforms.
What happens after the allotment?
For investors who receive shares, the allotted equity is scheduled to be credited to their demat accounts on August 21.
For unsuccessful applicants, the blocked funds are scheduled to be released from the same date, subject to the normal processing timelines of the relevant bank or UPI service provider.
The tentative listing date is August 24, when Lalithaa Jewellery Mart shares are scheduled to begin trading on both the NSE and BSE.

What should investors check now?
Applicants should use their PAN or application details to check the result through the registrar or exchange websites. A successful result should show the number of shares allotted, while an unsuccessful application will not show an equity allotment.
Investors should also check their bank or UPI account for the release or debit of funds and their demat account for the credit of shares.
The official registrar remains the most direct source for an individual applicant’s allotment result.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart is scheduled to make its stock-market debut on August 24, provided the IPO timetable proceeds as planned. Until then, investors should distinguish the allotment result from unofficial grey-market premium figures, which do not determine the actual listing price.
