Haiwaan Box Office Today: Akshay Kumar-Saif Ali Khan Film Crosses Rs.10 Crore

Haiwaan Box Office Today

Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan’s Haiwaan is estimated to have collected ₹0.78 crore net in India so far on Tuesday, September 15, according to live tracking by Box Office India 24. The figure was updated at about 1:35 p.m. IST and remains provisional because Tuesday’s theatrical business is still being recorded.

The film’s five-day India net collection stands at an estimated ₹10.41 crore, with Tuesday’s current figure representing a 31.6% decline from the tracker’s finalised Day 4 estimate of ₹1.14 crore. Haiwaan is recording about 9.5% occupancy across the tracked shows on Tuesday.

The numbers underline the challenge facing the Priyadarshan-directed thriller during its first weekday stretch. The film opened in cinemas on September 11 and has not been able to maintain the stronger audience turnout usually associated with a weekend release.

Haiwaan Day 5 collection so far

Box Office India 24’s live tracker puts Haiwaan’s Tuesday net collection at ₹0.78 crore, with an estimated gross of ₹0.92 crore at the time of its 1:35 p.m. update. The tracker recorded 3,037 scheduled shows across 1,372 screens, with 70,394 tickets sold and an overall occupancy rate of 9.5%.

Delhi-NCR is currently among the stronger markets for the film, with the tracker reporting 15.5% occupancy. Hyderabad has also recorded relatively strong occupancy at 29.2%, while Bengaluru was at 14.5%. Mumbai, by comparison, was at 3.9% in the same tracking window.

Because these are live figures from the middle of the trading day, the final Tuesday collection is expected to change once evening and night shows are included.

Haiwaan box office collection: Day-wise breakdown

The latest Box Office India 24 figures show a gradual weakening after the opening weekend:

Day Date India Net Collection
Day 1 Sept. 11 ₹3.19 crore
Day 2 Sept. 12 ₹3.00 crore
Day 3 Sept. 13 ₹2.30 crore
Day 4 Sept. 14 ₹1.14 crore
Day 5 Sept. 15 ₹0.78 crore*
Total 5 days ₹10.41 crore*

Day 5 is a live estimate as of about 1:35 p.m. IST and is not the final Tuesday figure.

Other trade reports have produced somewhat different estimates because box-office trackers use different methodologies and update at different times. Hindustan Times, citing Sacnilk, reported the film at ₹7.35 crore net after its first three days, based on a ₹3 crore opening, ₹2.5 crore on Saturday and ₹1.85 crore on Sunday.

The Indian Express similarly reported ₹3 crore on opening day and ₹2.5 crore on Saturday, putting the two-day India net at ₹5.5 crore.

The variation is important when discussing a film’s live box office. Early estimates can change as theatre-level figures are reconciled, so Tuesday’s ₹0.78 crore should not be treated as the final Day 5 number.

Weekend performance and Monday drop

Haiwaan entered its first weekday after a relatively modest opening weekend. According to the latest Box Office India 24 day-wise data, the film moved from ₹3.19 crore on Friday to ₹3 crore on Saturday and ₹2.30 crore on Sunday. Monday then fell to ₹1.14 crore.

A separate report published by TV9 Hindi on Tuesday said the film collected around ₹70 lakh on Monday, describing the first Monday as a weak result. That estimate differs from the later Box Office India 24 figure, another indication that early trade numbers are still subject to revision.

Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan reunite

Haiwaan brings Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan together again after their previous collaboration in the 2008 film Tashan. Priyadarshan directs the new thriller, which is a Hindi adaptation of the Malayalam film Oppam.

Saif plays a visually impaired man caught in a dangerous situation, while Akshay appears as the antagonist. The cast also includes Saiyami Kher, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Boman Irani and Sharib Hashmi.

The film was released in Indian cinemas on September 11, 2026.

What happens next at the box office

The most important number now is the final Tuesday collection. The current ₹0.78 crore estimate covers only part of the day, and the film still has evening and night shows to report.

For Haiwaan, the immediate test will be whether weekday collections can stabilise before the second weekend. At present, the available live data shows the film facing a substantial gap between its opening-day business and weekday performance.

The ₹10.41 crore five-day India net figure is therefore provisional, and the final total could move higher once Tuesday’s complete theatrical data is reported.
