The Paradise Box Office Collection Day 4: Nani’s Film Grosses Rs. 138.25 Crore Worldwide

The Paradise Box Office Collection Day 4

Nani’s The Paradise collected an estimated ₹15.70 crore net at the Indian box office on Sunday, September 27, bringing its cumulative domestic net earnings to ₹92.10 crore, according to figures attributed to industry tracker Sacnilk. The Srikanth Odela-directed action drama recorded a modest increase over Saturday’s collections, taking its worldwide gross to approximately ₹138.25 crore.

The film has already passed the ₹100 crore mark in India when gross collections are considered. Its domestic gross stands at approximately ₹109 crore, while the ₹100 crore milestone for India net collections remains within reach.

The Paradise Day 4 box office collection

The film’s Sunday earnings were approximately 3% higher than Saturday’s ₹15.25 crore. Overall occupancy also improved, rising from 33.4% on Saturday to 35.7% on Sunday, according to figures reported by The Times of India.

BOX OFFICE AT A GLANCE

Sunday collections improve after Friday’s decline

The Paradise began its theatrical run with paid previews on September 23, collecting an estimated ₹11.60 crore. Its first full day in cinemas, September 24, brought in ₹34.65 crore net, giving Nani the biggest opening of his career.

The film’s collections subsequently fell to ₹14.90 crore on Friday, before recovering slightly to ₹15.25 crore on Saturday. Sunday’s ₹15.70 crore collection suggests that business stabilised over the weekend, although the film has yet to return to its opening-day level.

The number of screenings also declined over the four days, from 9,732 on Thursday to 6,764 on Sunday. Nevertheless, Sunday’s reported occupancy of 35.7% was higher than both Friday’s 32.8% and Saturday’s 33.4%.

The Paradise- Daily India net earnings

Telugu states account for most of Sunday’s earnings

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the film’s principal domestic markets, contributing an estimated ₹14 crore in gross earnings on Sunday. Karnataka accounted for ₹1.42 crore, while Tamil Nadu contributed approximately ₹50 lakh.

Kerala recorded ₹8 lakh, with the rest of India contributing around ₹2.50 crore. The combined regional gross for Sunday was approximately ₹18.50 crore.

These figures reflect the film’s reliance on its core Telugu audience during its opening weekend, even as it plays in multiple languages.

The Paradise crosses ₹138 crore worldwide

The film’s reported overseas gross reached ₹29.25 crore by Sunday, including approximately ₹2 crore on its fourth day. Together with its estimated ₹109 crore domestic gross, that takes its worldwide collection to ₹138.25 crore.

The distinction between net and gross collections matters when assessing the film’s performance. India net collections exclude applicable entertainment taxes, while India gross collections include them. Worldwide gross combines domestic and overseas box office earnings.

On that basis, The Paradise has already entered the ₹100 crore club in India gross earnings. It needs a further ₹7.90 crore in reported domestic net collections to reach the same milestone on a net basis.

Nani reunites with Srikanth Odela

Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise marks another collaboration between the filmmaker and Nani. The film is set in 1980s Secunderabad and follows a marginalised community confronting discrimination and fighting for citizenship.

The cast includes Nani, Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal. The film opened in cinemas on September 24, following paid previews the previous day.

Despite mixed critical and audience reactions, the action drama has accumulated substantial opening-weekend earnings, supported particularly by its performance in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Monday collections will determine the next milestone

The immediate box office question is whether The Paradise can sustain its weekend performance on Monday, September 28, when the working week begins.

The film requires another ₹7.90 crore net to reach ₹100 crore in India. Its reported Sunday earnings put it close to that figure, but Monday’s collections had not been established in the latest completed-day reports consulted for this article.

The figures remain industry estimates rather than independently audited final receipts, and may change as additional box office data becomes available.
