Delhi Hotel Abduction Attempt: Three Men Arrested After Nagaland Woman Allegedly Pulled Toward Mercedes
NEW DELHI: Three men have been arrested after a Delhi Hotel Abduction Attempt allegedly involving a 28-year-old Nagaland Woman at a five-star hotel parking area in Chanakyapuri. The incident took place around 3:30 a.m. on October 4, when the woman and her friends were leaving the hotel, according to police.
Nagaland Woman Alleges Attempt To Force Her Into Car
According to the complaint, the Nagaland Woman and a female friend were returning from the washroom when three men in a white Mercedes allegedly approached them near the hotel’s exit.
The woman alleged that the men tried to stop her and forcibly pull her into the vehicle. Her male friends intervened, after which the accused allegedly attacked them with hockey sticks and iron rods. One friend suffered injuries to his teeth, while two others were also allegedly assaulted, police said.
The case has drawn attention because the woman alleged that the men had removed the vehicle’s number plate and that police initially did not register her complaint. Those claims remain allegations made by the complainant.
Police Register Case And Arrest Three Men
Police said the three accused were later identified as Divyanshu, Gaurav and Mohit. They were booked at Chanakyapuri police station after the woman’s complaint and medical examination formed the basis of the case.
The woman was taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for a medical examination. Police are also examining CCTV footage from the hotel and other available evidence to establish the exact sequence of events.
The Delhi Hotel Abduction Attempt remains under investigation, and the allegations against the accused have not been established through a trial.
What Police Are Investigating
The vehicle’s registration details helped investigators identify the three men, according to police reports. The accused allegedly left the location after police arrived.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage and medical reports as part of the investigation. The evidence is expected to help establish what happened in the parking area and determine the nature of the alleged assault.
The Nagaland Woman has said she wants strict action against those involved and expressed concern about her safety. Her account, along with the statements of witnesses and other evidence, will form part of the ongoing investigation.
The incident has renewed public discussion about Women Safety in Delhi, particularly after allegations that a woman was allegedly confronted and pulled toward a vehicle in a hotel parking area.
Three Men Face Investigation After Hotel Incident
The three accused have been arrested in connection with the case, but the allegations of attempted abduction and assault remain subject to investigation and judicial proceedings.
The incident has also prompted scrutiny of security measures at high-end hotels, including surveillance coverage in parking areas and the response to emergencies involving guests and visitors.
According to the Indian Express, police are examining CCTV footage and other evidence while assessing the injuries reported after the confrontation.
The investigation will determine whether the allegations made by the Nagaland Woman are supported by the available evidence.
