OPPO F35 5G Series Brings Big-Battery Ambitions to India
OPPO has confirmed that its F35 5G series is coming to India, putting the company’s next F-series smartphone lineup on the launch calendar. The company has released a teaser for the series but has not yet announced an exact launch date, pricing, or the individual models that will be sold in the country.
The biggest talking point so far is the expected F35 Pro. Multiple reports have linked the handset to a 10,000mAh battery and 80W wired fast charging, but those specifications remain unconfirmed by OPPO. The reports appear to be based partly on the possibility that the F35 Pro could be an India-specific version or rebranding of the OPPO A7 Pro Max, which launched in China in August.
OPPO has confirmed the series, not the full specifications
OPPO’s latest announcement establishes that the F35 5G series is headed for India. Its teaser gives a partial look at the upcoming handset, including rounded edges and a centred punch-hole display design, but does not disclose detailed hardware specifications.
The company has also not publicly confirmed how many phones will make up the Indian lineup. Reports have consistently pointed to an OPPO F35 and F35 Pro, but those model names should still be treated as reported rather than as a complete official lineup until OPPO provides further details.
OPPO has indicated that the series will follow the F33 family, which was introduced in India earlier this year. The F33 lineup placed emphasis on battery capacity, fast charging, AMOLED displays and durability.
10,000mAh battery is the headline rumour
The F35 Pro is expected to be the more ambitious model of the two.
According to recent reports, it could carry a 10,000mAh battery, making it one of the largest battery capacities associated with an OPPO smartphone in the Indian market. It is also tipped to support 80W wired fast charging. Neither specification has been confirmed for the Indian F35 Pro by OPPO yet.
The reports have a connection to the OPPO A7 Pro Max, which was launched in China with a 10,000mAh battery and 80W wired charging. The Chinese model uses a silicon-carbon battery and also supports reverse charging.
That connection is one reason the F35 Pro’s reported specifications have gained attention. However, an Indian model based on an existing Chinese handset can still receive market-specific changes. Until OPPO publishes the Indian specifications, the A7 Pro Max should be treated as a reference point rather than proof of what the F35 Pro will offer.
What the reported F35 Pro could offer
If the existing reports prove accurate, the F35 Pro could feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. Reports also point to configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The reported camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary rear camera alongside a secondary sensor, while some specifications databases list a 50-megapixel front camera. Again, these details have not been officially confirmed for the Indian F35 Pro and should not be treated as final specifications.
Durability could also be a major part of the phone’s positioning. The A7 Pro Max carries multiple IP ratings, including IP69K, and reports have suggested similar protection for the F35 Pro.
Launch date and price remain unknown
OPPO has not announced the exact Indian launch date. Recent coverage indicates that the F35 series is expected to arrive during September, but the company has not publicly specified a day for the launch.
Pricing is also unconfirmed. Earlier reports placed the expected F35 Pro price between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 45,000, although that figure comes from reports and should not be considered an official OPPO price.
The final price will be particularly important because the reported specifications would place the F35 Pro above the company’s previous F-series positioning in India.
For now, OPPO has confirmed only the central point: the F35 5G series is coming to India. The battery, charging speed, processor, camera hardware, price, and exact lineup remain subject to official confirmation.
The next major update should come when OPPO announces the launch date and begins revealing the individual F35 models and their specifications.
